Check out Mr. Laws Blog for music

Last week you practiced drawing bubble letters. There are lots of youtube videos showing how to do this.

This week you will use bubble letters to make an acrostic poem poster. Grade 6's, your poster is at school to pick up. Grade 5's this assignment is optional, and if you would like to do it, you can make it on any paper. I would love to see it when it's done, so upload it to myblueprint, or email it to me.

An acrostic poem is a poem where certain letters in each line spell out a word or phrase.

You will create an acrostic poem using your name. Each letter of your name will be used to spell out a word (only one word) that is a positive characteristic trait that represents you.

For example: This is an acrostic poem with the name CHRISTINE

Compassionate
Honest
Reliable
Intuitive
Sensitive
Thoughtful
Intelligent
Noble
Enthusiastic

Colour your poster. Use bubble letters for each letter of your name. Colour in the bubble letters and use patterns. Draw pictures. Make your letters and words big, so they take up most of the poster.
